Well, the weekend came and went, and while it was a good one (two days of sleeping in, a close friend's wedding, and a fancy homemade dinner paired with three episodes of The Newsroom), it's now Monday and my apartment is not as tidy
I did, however, pick up a couple of pieces of art that I had left at Michael's for custom matting (and I'm feeling like it was money very well spent) so I'm convincing myself I was a tiny bit productive. I'll have to do a before and after post of the progress I've made on the "art wall" in the near future, but until then, here is an Instagram sneak peek I took this afternoon...
don't mind the crispy dead flowers...
And coincidentally, my good friend Anna texted me a photo of the art wall she has created in her baby Max's room, which includes a piece of art I sent as a baby gift in the bottom left corner. I can't get over how cute this little nook is! Way to go Anna and Nate!
What was the best part of your weekend?
I moved in over 6 months ago and STILL have prints sitting on the floor waiting to be hung. You're making me feel rather ashamed of myself :)
ReplyDeleteI am so in love with The Newsroom. I didn't watch last nights episode, I save it for Monday's when I'm home alone and can comment out loud without judgement.
ReplyDeleteBest part of my weekend: Going Geocaching! I am SO ADDICTED. It's a great free way to spend some time, plus if you go into a park and geocache, it's a great workout!
Haha, I'm stealing that e-card mantra. My room is not dirty - really! I did actually clean my house (hooray cause I hate cleaning. seriously)and kissed my lil son way too much which explains the side eye his lil 9-month self gave me this morning. Loving the blog and thanks for stopping by ours as well. Be sure to join via the Google connect feature!
ReplyDeleteany weekend that includes framed art is 100% efficient! I have like 6 things I want framed...not sure if I'm saving up for it or what....but its going to be an investment for sure. I litke your friend's gallery wall...so cute! You already the best part of my weekend ;) my daugher's b-day!!
